Having had the opportunity to meet the dentist who would treat me, Dr Roka, in the UK, I felt much more confident in traveling to Hungary for a course of treatment. All travel and accommodation bookings were done for me, and I was picked up from the airport smoothly and whisked off to a clean well-appointed room in a family-owned hotel. A children's festival with fun and games was taking place when I arrived in Gyor, and it felt very safe to be wandering around the old town in the sunshine and drinking in the atmosphere. There were plenty of small bars and restaurants, and local museums and exhibitions to take in. The treatment I had was quite extensive, involving several visits to the dentist and one to the dental laboratory where I was able to discuss the shape and colour of the new teeth with the technician who was to make them. The dental surgery was modern and well-equipped and I was very impressed by Dr Roka; a skilled engineer and artist who clearly takes great pride in the standard of his work, and is also caring and concerned to put his clients at ease. I have lots of lovely new teeth now, and am getting used to using them!

Katalin, in response to your e mail, I can only say that everything was first class. When I arrived at Vienna airport I was picked up by your driver no problem and taken to the hotel. The hotel room was very small and only had roof windows but was very clean and the staff were excellent. The two girls on reception, Kinga and Beatrix, were very helpful and cheerful, and helped get through the language barrier even though their English was limited. (Not as limited as my Hungarian though) Lilla was also very helpful, loaning me a mobile phone so that I could contact her if there was anything I needed, and generally making my visit as pleasant as a trip to the dentist can be. Dr Roka was very good and discussed my treatment and needs with me which was a pleasant change from dentists in UK who normally just tell you what they are going to do. Although I am very tense when having injections he put me at ease and kept any pain to an absolute minimum, although my mouth was quite sore by the end of the week the results are worth it. Lilla also took me to see the technician who was making my bridge so that I could discuss colour etc with him, which added to the confidence I now have in Hungarian dentistry. Dr Roka also had a stand in dentist for the less intense work and he was also very good and worked well to alleviate my fear of being in a dentist chair, but I can't remember his name.

Everything was spot on from your organization Katalin to your dentist in Hungary. I love your place and so happy that everything went according to plan I was picked up as I was told, taken to the clinic at the time I was told and I had a great time in Gyor city. The hotel was perfect and the people were very nice. I am definitely coming back in 2009.

On many occasions I have had to have dental work done in places such as New Zealand, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Africa, USA, Canada, China and many parts of Europe. When I arrived I was impressed with everything. Dr Antal Roka was very professional and achieved great results. I had a lot of surgery in a clean environment and have healed well. The hotel staffs were very polite, good English and very accommodating. Room was adequate and good value. Food excellent. Katalin was very helpful informative and efficient. Your representative was helpful and showed concern after my treatment. Regular calls to make sure there was nothing I needed. I would recommend this company to others.

Hi Katalin, thank you for your e-mail. I thought the service you gave me by telephone was excellent. From explaining how your dental practice works to booking the hotels for us. I would not have gone ahead with the treatment if I was not happy with how you dealt with me on the telephone. Hungary is a beautiful country, the hotel was lovely and everyone we met during our stays were very friendly and helpful. Your surgery was very clean and very professional. I was very pleased with the treatment I received and everyone at home says how lovely my teeth are. I was a little bit concerned when I got home as my teeth were quite painful for about ten days. it has passed now and everything seems to be fine so I would expect this to be normal. Maybe Dr Antal Roka could have warned me about this. That really was my only concern.
