Invisalign, is a treatment that can straighten teeth without the use of fixed braces. Southgate Dental in Drogheda offers the invisible way to straighten your teeth without braces for the lowest prices. Invisalign uses a series of clear removable aligners to straighten your teeth without using metal wires or brackets. The aligners are made through a combination of our Orthodontist's expertise and 3D computer imaging technology. You wear each set of aligners for approx. 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position. The patient must visit our clinic approx. every 6 weeks to ensure that your treatment is progressing as planned. Compliance is the key with Invisalign, the treatment will only work if the aligners are being worn as advised and prescribed. Invisalign is a patient specific treatment and is not suitable for everyone. Total treatment time varies as does the average number of aligners worn during treatment, both will vary from case to case.
